Pakistan Launches its First Communication Satellite Paksat-1R
Finally Pakistan has launched its first communication satellite with the help of China.
Earlier it was expected that Pakistan will launch its satellite in second week of August, preferably on 14th of August but keeping in view the weather factors, the launch has taken place.
Paksat-1R is based on DFH-4 platform and will be positioned at 38.0 degrees East. Paksat-1R will replace Paksat-1 which was launched on January 31st, 1996. The DFH-4 (DongFangHong-4) platform is a large telecommunications satellite platform – a new generation of hardware based on high output power and communication capacity.
Pakistan Becomes 6th Country to Develop Genome Maps
Karachi University’s Centre for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research Institute’s doctor Pranjuany, in collaboration with Beijing Genomics Institute has developed Genome structure of Pakistani citizens.
This marks Pakistan to become 6th country in the world to perform this task while United States, Europe, Africa, India and Jewish citizens’s genome maps were already being developed.
In Pakistan, Dr. Iqbal Chaudhry, head of the project, got volunteered support of Dr. Atta Ur Rehman who is former federal minister and pattern of Karachi University’s International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences.
Pictures of Abbottabad Operation – Osama Bin Ladin
Photographs acquired by the media and taken about an hour after the US assault on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad in Pakistan show three dead men lying in pools of blood, but no weapons.
The photos, taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound after the early morning raid on Monday, show two men dressed in traditional Pakistani garb and one in a t-shirt, with blood streaming from their ears, noses and mouths.
Osama bin Laden killed in Pakistan
US president Barack Obama said bin Laden, the most-wanted fugitive on the US list, has been killed on Sunday in a US operation in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad, about 150km north of Islamabad.
“Tonight, I can report to the people of the United States and the world, the United States had carried an operation that has killed Osama Bin Laden, a terrorist responsible for killing thousands of innocent people,” Obama said in a statement.

Pakistan is not top on porn search – Said by Google
In my last post i said “Don’t call Pakistan as Pornistan” and finally Google denies with fox news, in which fox news give the new title to Pakistan “pornistan”and publish the statement that the news and the shared search result was fake in the reply to Dawn news. Dawn news sent a confirmation email to google about the fake news of fox.

Don’t call Pakistan as Pornistan

Today Fox News published a report on Pakistan and refereed to it as Pornistan claiming that it is “No. 1 Nation in Sexy Web Searches”. Whatever keywords Fox News has mentioned are factual and not made-up. I don’t deny the fact that Pakistan ranks 1st on these keywords. I also don’t deny the fact that porn is popular in Pakistan.

I started a survey on facebook page “Muslims Are Not Terrorists” (MANT) to know what Muslims think about America war against terrorist, Over all it was a good survey and people write about their thought about it.
